Personalized Support for Individual Learners

Every student brings a unique set of strengths, challenges, and learning needs. My services are designed to provide individualized, one-on-one support that meets students where they are and helps them develop the skills, strategies, and confidence to move forward.

Whether a student needs explicit literacy instruction or support with the executive function skills that make learning more manageable, sessions are thoughtfully tailored to the individual learner.

Explicit, individualized reading and spelling instruction designed to build strong foundational literacy skills.

Using a structured, multisensory approach rooted in Orton-Gillingham instruction, I work with students to strengthen the skills needed to become more accurate, fluent, and confident readers and spellers.

Instruction is individualized based on each student’s current skills and areas of need and may focus on the following areas:

Literacy Instruction

Phonemic Awareness

Phonics & Decoding

Spelling & Encoding

Reading Fluency

Foundational Skills

Vocabulary & Morphology

Reading Comprehension

Written Language Skills

Language & Comprehension

Literacy instruction is especially supportive for students with dyslexia or language-based learning differences, as well as students who have struggled to make progress through traditional reading instruction.

Executive Function Coaching

For some students, understanding academic material isn’t the primary challenge. Staying organized, managing time, planning ahead, or simply knowing where to begin can make school feel overwhelming.

Drawing from my years teaching special education and study skills, I work one-on-one with students to identify the specific areas getting in their way and develop realistic strategies and systems that work for them.

Independent Learning

Practical, individualized support to help students manage the demands of school with greater confidence and independence.

What Individualized Support Looks Like

I don’t use a one-size-fits-all tutoring model. Support begins with getting to know the student, understanding their current needs, and identifying the areas where targeted instruction or coaching can have the greatest impact.

From there, sessions are individualized and evolve as the student grows. Families can expect thoughtful planning, ongoing communication, and a collaborative approach centered on meaningful, sustainable progress.
